GENTRY CREEK HUNTING AND FISHING CAMP is located 9 miles from Checotah, OK and only 50 miles from Tulsa, OK.  It is located on the expansive Lake Eufaula and consists of 38 acres with two ponds and 1/4 mi. frontage on the lake.  Enjoy privacy all year round, as there is only one cabin on the acreage with only one group per stay.  Outstanding dove hunting in September and October.  For waterfowl hunting, the ducks and geese come right into the the two ponds and fields for a great waterfowl hunting experience.  There is also approximately 1/2 mi. of corp property available for hunting and fishing right on the lake.  Some of the best crappie fishing on Lake Eufaula is right behind Gentry Creek Hunting & Fishing Camp.  You can access the lake by walking about 100 yards to Bouy Cove or take your boat to a nearby primitive boat launch or you can drive 5 minutes to Gentry Creek Cove Park and launch your boat for a minimal fee.  Also, one pond is stocked with hybrid blue gill and catfish for great kid's fishing.
